Here are a few examples of a clean I carried out on a G-Plan suite. Over an hour of dry vacuuming was required, we use a power assisted brush head for maximum agitation to lift the embedded soils to the surface.
The heavily soiled areas are usually the arms, base cushion and head rest area. Sweat and hair oils are the main contributors for the soilage here.
The picture shows one of the arms which has been vacuumed and a detergent free chemical applied to break down the soils.
Half of this chair has been rinse-extracted with plain hot water – no detergent cleaning means no further chemicals are required when it comes to extraction… you wouldn’t want to rinse the shampoo from your hair with soapy water would you?
After the entire suite had been cleaned, a special nano protector was applied. The fluorocarbon resin attaches itself to the fibres and acts as a barrier against dust and liquids, prolonging the life of the fabric.
