Today I was called out to a rented property, the customer had recently moved in and was told that the carpets had been professionally cleaned by the previous tenant.
After a thorough vacuum I went to work pre-spraying the carpet using a dedicated cleaning solution, then I used a mechanical brush machine to agitate the cleaning solution and extract any deep down soils. In fact, it lifted clumps of pet hair left over from the previous tenant’s dog!
The water I emptied from my machine was thick with dirt, that carpet had probably never been cleaned at all, certainly not by a professional!
Would you allow your kids to play on a carpet full of pet hair and dirt?
If you have just moved into a rented property why not get a professional to clean the carpets rather than inherit someone else’s filth!
