Think of a carpet protector much the same as applying a good quality wax to the paintwork of a car, the wax forms a layer which protects against rain, dirt and ultraviolet rays.Without this layer of protection the paintwork would soon become dull allowing dust and dirt to bond to the surface, also water wouldn’t be able to simply bead off the surface.
ProsteamUK will not protect a carpet unless it contains wool, it is very difficult to permanently stain a man made fibre such as polypropylene, any carpet supplier offering FREE protection on a synthetic carpet is actually offering nothing!
The product we choose has proved to be long lasting and will most definitely help to prolong the life of your carpet. Carpet protectors in general do NOT offer permanent protection and carpets should be cleaned and protector re applied every 6 to 12 months.
