Amtico floor cleaning Chobham Surrey

Protection from day one!

ProsteamUK were once again called upon by Simply Carpet & Flooring for the cleaning and sealing of a brand new Amtico floor in Chobham, Surrey.

The floor was installed and allowed to settle for 48 hours to ensure the adhesive has completely dried.

Clean and seal

The flooring is vacuumed to remove all surface debris.

A rotary machine is then used to scrub the floor, loosening dirt, oils and excess adhesive.

We then extract all the dirt using super heated water and dry the floor ready for sealing.

Once dry, the Amtico floor should now have a dull, non reflective appearance.

Dr Schutz, the manufacture of the sealant claims that its super resistant to abrasion, and can last up to 2 years before the sealant required stripping and resealing

Look at how the sealant enhances the colour of the flooring, achieving a very tasteful  mat / satin finish.

We never make expensive floors look cheap by using high gloss sealants.

Once the sealant has been applied to the Amtico flooring, it usually takes around 2 hours to become touch dry.

A further 24 hours will be required before the  sealant is completely cured.

Tests have proved that a sealed floor is more resistant to everyday wear and tear.

Continued maintenance will help to prolong the life of the flooring, sealing will also make the flooring more hygienic Karndean & Amtico flooring require the very best maintenance.
